I agree with Rip, Webber will NOT play for the Heat, the only teams he would even consider signing with are teams that have a chance to win the finals....and this early in the season, its hard to tell who has the best chances.....so he's waiting.

Joe Dumars said that in a Newspaper...He said that ALL the reports about him coming to Detroit are false he even told Webber's agent that he is not interested...Plus WE DON'T NEED HIM.

And The Heat want him badly.They may be able to get Zo's contract(like the Magic got with Battie)so then they could offer him more money.

Cause Webber is still a very quality player, with experience. We don't know how Primoz, Maxiell, and Amir are going to do in the clutch games. Maxiell played pretty bad against Boston so..

He has experience and can still ball, what's the difference?
