Well, Quinn hasn't had the chance to do anything yet...they don't play him.

And his future doens't look any better too.

Browns will do whatever they can to keep Anderson and don't mind spending the money on keeping Quinn.

Its not fair to judge a guy who hasn't had the opportunity to see the field yet. Aaron Rodgers could be the next Brett Favre & we still don't know b/c we haven't seen him appear in any more than 2 games. Its not Brady Quinn's fault that the Browns decided to start Derek Anderson & suddenly Derek Anderson is playing like a seasoned pro.

I still believe that the Dolphins were foolish to draft Ginn so high & pass on Brady at the same time. Brady was prepped for this league by one of the best Offensive Coordinators we have ever seen and Brady was the best pro-ready rookie QB in the draft class. In the long run, Brady Quinn will see the field and he will pay off much more than Ted Ginn will. Ginn is hardly the physical-possession WR that the Dolphins need. He has speed and he can get down-field in a hurry, but much like Santana Moss, he is, in large part, unproductive unless somebody can get him a deep ball. I don't think John Beck is going to be all that Miami thinks he is. I know he had some outstanding days at BYU but c'mon...look at BYU's schedule in 2006 & look at the games Brady Quinn had to lead Notre Dame into.

I saw Beck play against the Bills yesterday and it was clear to me that he was played "scared". He didn't last long and was pulled. Just doesn't look like he is anywhere near comfortable enough with the pro-offense to lead one. Beck is also 26 years old...he should be further along that he is.

I think he has been to, he's been saying "I don't want to do too much out there." Which is probably right for his first few games, not forcing stuff, and he hadn't thrown much INTs in his first couple of starts. But I agree that he was playing scared, and he didn't want to make any "big mistakes" like fumbles or INTs, but the line hasn't helped him out much either.

Haha. Id love to see the Dolphins add Pat White actully. The guy would kill it if they began just running the ball. Esp. if Williams and Brown coming back next year. It be nasty to have that speed in the Offense.

Yea, that would be really interesting to see. But I think their O-Line may kind of break this up.

I know Pat's your boy DJ but in his "wildest dreams" does he even turn out to be anything like a Seneca Wallace is for the Seahawks. If Pat is lucky, has a good combine, and can prove many NFL scouts wrong...he is standing exactly where Troy Smith is today, #3.

Yea I know, I didn't say anything like that I thought he would be a big time player at the next level did I? I don't think I did, but I would like to see him do good. And some QBs are getting older, and closer to retirement, opening the door for some of these younger guys.

well not after Troy's debut yesterday he ran a TD.
I'm just kidding, but Ravens QBs are never reliable, in fact I never remember the Ravens ever having a steady quarterback.

Dilfer's one season was one where he had no health issues, didn't make costly mistakes, and they won a Super Bowl. That's of course after Tony Banks was benched in Week 9. That's about the best they've got in their QB history.

Ravens QB History
Vinny Testeverde
Jim Harbaugh
Eric Zeier
Tony Banks
Randell Cunningham
Scott Mitchell
Stoney Case
Chris Redman
Trent Dilfer
Elvis Grbac
Jeff Blake
Kordell Stewart
Kyle Boller
Anthony Wright
Steve McNair
Troy Smith

who will they pick? Obviously either a WR or a QB. Probably QB since Trent Green is toast.
RB no, they got Brown. Maybe WR but they seem to have hope there with Booker and Ginn.

Not after investing their 2nd round pick in 2007 on John Beck they wont. McFadden would not be a bad choice but they desperately need to address both O-Line and D-Line.
