Just curious...is it that some of you guys are wanting a points system for bragging purposes? Or do you actually see the value in having to earn points? What would we even spend point on anyways? GFX!?! Why be a part of a site that requires you to spend points on GFX when there are a number of other Sports Forums out there where you can get them made for free...like the way we have been doing it.

Bringing back CB4 & Lakerfan wont do anything posotive for SI. They certainly wont make or break us either. Yea they had high post counts & were always all over the forums but if you take away all their posts that were nothing but taunting, arguing, and childish BS...they are merely mediocre SI members.

let me just throw out some think-about-this questions for the "free them" campaign:

how long were the 2 a part of SI before their banning? over a year, right?
how long were they part of TST before their banning? a couple of months, right?

so, who's to say bringing them back would see anything different.
look, I was really good friends with laker before this whole incident. he was one of the reason I became so involved with this site, along with ABomb. but, he changed once the other came around. now, I'm not the one to say that they're the same way, but history did repeat itself when they migrated to TST.

so, just think about where SI is wanting to GO, not where it's been when actually thinking about this

Marcum told me awhile ago that lakerfan was not active much though becuase of being in an higer school grade now and wanting to get better grades. But ya i would love to see lakerfan back.

Well...hello.

Anyways, this will be my only post on here, so you can reach me on AIM if you want to know what's going on or want me to join another forum.(Or whatever, really)

All I can say is, thanks for anyone who wanted me back, but due to what I've said already, I can't. Good luck with version 2.

Everyone needs a second chance, I'd like to see him back around again, and besides, what's the worst that can happen? You have to ban him for good.. takes like 2 min, and I know you're all gonna say "oh he could cause a bunch of drama", but what's the big deal, forums are always full of drama. Give him a chance to come back, if he messes up again, send him on his way.

yeah, uh, this is lakerfan.

i was contacted by a member here basically, saw this thread and just kinda had to put my two cents.
haha, some people haven't changed. XD

ummm, yeah.
i've been off the computer for a very long time.
recently got a job, enjoying senior year, applying to college. yup.
so a pretty busy slate, basically.

just had to clear some things up, though- just for my personal well-being.
well, i don't know if it's just me, but things are being taken a tad too seriously.
i'm hearing this 'second chance- no wait, third chance!' stuff, and it's pretty funny to be honest with you
like i said, just a little too melodramatic.

speaking of which- yeah, dramatics. i personally don't like drama, to be honest.
the way i see it, i posted. i was honest. some people thought i was honest to a fault. so be it.
but uh yeah, i'll just reiterate what many wise people have said, which is basically if you can't take a text comment on the web, then you pretty much have set yourself for disaster in the real world.

the one thing i personally found funny was the whole 'lakerfan and cb4 got banned from TST' thing. amusing, really it was, considering i've been off the internet for a pretty long time. but hey, internet rumors exist, i guess. i don't really know what to say, just that any claims about 'evil internet behavior' i pretty much take with a pinch of salt.

what it comes down to is basically that the site from what it looks like needs help. i personally wouldn't not consider talking sports on a website that i'm somewhat familar with.
what i will say, is that, still, to this day, if you can't hypothetically handle my or CB4's for that case 'internet opinions', i really don't know what to say, especially considering you had to deal with Kraig in his prime. XD

i like talking about sports, you do to.
i'd like to think you know what i personally bring to the table, but i also understand that many took our time here for granted. that's an argument for a different day.
hopefully something works out.
