Why... does Peja Stokavic of all people... always have career games against the Lakers? It dates all the way back to his days with the Kings.... DAMN YOU PEJA!!

Seattle was so close....darn. I used to like Sacramento a ton, but then they traded Webber and ruined their chances at anything.

Also Warriors in a tight one, but looks like the Cavs will hold em off.

And Mihm started...woohoo!

It is time to preach the verse of the book of the mamba.

It was written that "On the 6th Day of the 11th Month of the 7th Year of the new millenium, the Lakerites shall set forth to defend their castle from the invading Killer Bee tribe of New Orleans. The Lakerites shall be bold and confident after two victorious battles against the Sodomite Suns and the Tribe hailing from the Brokeback Mountains of Utah. Ye, let it be known that the Lakerites must not be overconfident for they might stumble upon a Hornet's nest.

Although the sting of a Hornet is dangerous, nothing is more lethal than the venomous bite from a Black Mamba. Thy Holy Mamba shall strike upon the Hornets nest and inject them with his poison. Nevertheless, the Hornets shall be unrelenting in their attacks, but fear not my brothers, for Thy Mamba is with me. Thy Holy Mamba shall bat down the Hornets nest with one mighty swing and it shall crash to the ground like a fallen pinata.

Knees shall tremble at the thought of the improving Lakerite army. Grown men shall ejaculate prematurely in their beds at night, for the thought of the Prodigal Son Lamar returning in the coming few days shall run rampant in their dreams.

Beware, I say. Beware to those who dare oppose us for you shall be vanquished! As the sun shall set, the Turiaf shall dance with the stars!!!"

It was written; therefore, it is so!!

~Mamba 11:6
Hahah that's ridiculous. Please, no more readings from the book of the mamba.

Y'know you wouldn't have said anything had the Lakers kept up their play from the Suns/Jazz games.

Tonight they looked like the Lakers I was expecting to see this season.

Consistency damnit, consistency. The defensive rotations looked so good since the Rockets game, it disappeared tonight. No one got on West or Peja. It really was a pick your poison thing with Paul, when he drives either and you collapse on him, he's going to find one of those shooters, or a rolling Chandler. You don't collapse on him he has all the moves to get the ball into the basket. Too dangerous, Fisher and Farmar just didn't have what it takes to keep up with him... but there is one guy on the bench that could've... CRITTER!! Damnit Phil... play the rookies already!
