Houston Chronicle -
Rockets guard Steve Francis said he appreciated fans in Toyota Center on Saturday calling for him to get playing time, but that it would not and should not influence coach Rick Adelman's decision-making about playing time.

"It was unbelievable," Francis said. "The fans always embraced me, even when I wasn't a member of the Houston Rockets . It meant a lot to me. The thing that is scary is what if I come in and miss my first two shots?"

"I definitely love the support, but that should not make a difference to the coach's decisions. I'm not going to say that it should, but do I want to play? Hell, yes."
I ca't wait for Steve and Tracy to play together.

He can't keep up with the young guys no more.
No Rick Adelman said that he was too much out of shape right now.
And as soon as he gets back to tip top shape he will start.

Out of shape = not keeping up with the younger guys.

He could still keep up.
Watch when he does start and play he'll be almost back to his"glory days".

Yea after he gets back in shape. But I still doubt he'll be close to his glory days. His glory days was when he was scoring about 21 a night, and he isn't capable of doing that anymore, especially playing behind T-Mac.

Yea but he'll still be able to get us all off our feet.
He can still play.
That trio of Yao T-mac And Franchize would be vary good.
But Steve needs to play.

My guess is he'll be a good bench player, maybe getting around 12 a game is what I could see.

I don't know I hope he gets the starting job.
But the bench wouldn't be that bad.
The Rockets have a lot of talent.
