Yeah, you have so many better things to do and yet you're online and continue to post in various threads. Lmfao the likely excuse, don't make me laugh, that's everyone else's excuse. How about you just come out with it and admit that you have nothing to go against me.

Just to let you know I multi-task.....you know what that is don't you?

Multi-tasking, one of the easier things to do in the world lol

Cognitive dissonance, you know what that is dont you? That's what you suffer from.

Just come out with it man, admit that you got nothing. You aren't willing to read a real argument (which takes no more then two minutes unless you're a slow reader) and would rather read two little weak paragraphs that's missing valid points just so you could easily pick it apart like weak debators do? Ha.

let me just say...that this brings back some good old times

lol back to the good ol' days when I had time to do this type of stuff at night. Instead I now only have random days where I could stay on argue. :(

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- About the only member of the Bulls whose name was not rumored to be part of a Kobe Bryant trade Wednesday was longtime equipment manager John Ligmanowski.

Radio reports in Chicago had the Bulls in the final stages of a three-team deal with the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings that would bring Bryant to the Bulls. Kirk Hinrich and/or Ben Wallace reportedly were heading to the Lakers, along with the Kings' Ron Artest, with Ben Gordon rumored to be going to the Kings.

Gordon, like Luol Deng, declined the Bulls' five-year, approximately $50 million offer on the deadline to sign a contract extension.

A source said the Bulls have discussed several ''third-team'' deals during the last month, including one with the Kings involving Artest, but nothing came of any of them. The source said all the discussed deals would have depleted the Bulls to the point that Bryant -- the only NBA player with a complete no-trade clause -- likely would veto them because he wouldn't have enough talent surrounding him in Chicago.

One report had P.J. Brown being lured out of retirement as part of a sign-and-trade to match money within 15 percent of Bryant's $19.5 million salary, as mandated by league rules. Brown's agent, Mark Bartelstein, told the Sun-Times that no team had contacted him about such a scenario.

Hinrich and Wallace weren't aware of the rumors involving them, but neither felt the reports would have a negative effect.

''I'm not worried about it,'' Hinrich said. ''We've got guys who understand the business and how it goes. It seems like every year, there have been some sort of rumors. We've got young players, so everybody's always trying to tie us into some sort of trade. It's something you can't control, so you just try to go out and do your job.''

Another three-team deal discussed this week included the Phoenix Suns, who wanted to gauge the Bulls' interest in trading Thabo Sefolosha and other considerations as part of a package to send Bryant to the Bulls and forward Shawn Marion to the Lakers. The Suns were set to draft Sefolosha in 2006, but Paxson swung a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers, who had picked Sefolosha at No. 13.

''I don't know if there is going to be any hangover from any of this, but that's not what I sense,'' coach Scott Skiles said of the daily Kobe questions. ''I would say so if I felt that was an issue, but I don't feel like it is. The guys have gone about the normal business of getting ready for the regular season.''

ESPN -
A source with knowledge of the trade talks said Luol Deng has been included in proposals swapped between the teams, but Kobe Bryant has continually threatened to veto almost any deal in which Deng would be included. Bryant wants to be sure that the team he joins has enough talent remaining to compete for the NBA title.

The source said talks between the teams had stagnated, though by no means were they dead. And while the difficulties involved in the deal -- making the salaries match, and trying to trade players onto 15-man rosters now that the preseason roster flexibility has elapsed -- continued to be formidable, the Bulls remained determined to pursue every avenue toward acquiring Bryant from the Lakers.

As ESPN.com reported on Saturday, the Lakers have asked for Deng, Thomas, guard Ben Gordon and rookie Joakim Noah as the core parts of any trade for Bryant.

Contrary to most reports, the Bulls remain ready and willing to deal Deng, the source said. But if they're going to include Deng in a deal, they will not part with more than one of the other three, said the source.

Even then, it is not clear that any trade involving Deng would be acceptable to Bryant, who is wielding the power of the NBA's only no-trade clause by threatening to veto certain deals.

"It's not just the Bulls and Lakers who have to be happy with this deal. Kobe does, too, and that's a major factor," the source said.

The Bulls, according to ESPN.com's source, are willing to offer an alternative package of Gordon, Noah and Thomas.

I think this trade is going to happen most likely in the next week.
They just keep coming up with more and more realistic offers and one will have to happen soon.

So Laker fans and Bulls fans you might as well expect this to happen vary soon...

Theres an article saying that Deng,And Gordon are going to be gone next year due to the lame attempts Paxson made at extending there contracts.

General manager John Paxson put an end to more than a week of feverish speculation, declaring, "There's not a deal to be done" in the Bryant sweepstakes following Thursday's practice.

"It's time to put it to rest," Paxson said.
Paxson had grown weary of responding to the endless speculation regarding Bryant's future and wanted to ease the minds of his team, which many consider an Eastern Conference favorite.

Paxson acknowledged having several conversations with the Lakers regarding Bryant but refused to divulge specifics. It's known that the Bulls engaged in multiple talks trying to engineer three-team trades, but nothing ever got close, Paxson said.

Paxson refused to say his team was distracted by the daily rumors regarding the incident, saying merely that the Bulls "played poorly" in Wednesday's season-opening loss the Nets.

But Paxson wanted to make sure the situation didn't become a distraction.

"Today sends a message that our guys don't have to worry about anything anymore".

Yeah, the deal is not going down... The fact that Ben Gordon and Luol Deng weren't signed to extensions really sealed the deal, since there's no way they would be able to match contracts now.

DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Kobe Bryant won't be joining the Chicago Bulls anytime soon.

General manager John Paxson basically squashed the notion that the Los Angeles Lakers' superstar will wind up in Chicago, saying the teams were never on the verge of a deal and talks were over for now.

"There's not a deal done," he said Thursday. "There's not going to be a deal done. All the things that were out there were really unfair to all of us who were trying to do our jobs. The misinformation ... I think gets in the way of the process. It's just such a complicated thing and we kind of put it to rest now."

Paxson said they discussed "parameters," but the sides "never got down to the nuts and bolts of it because there was never a deal to be done."

"That's the reality of it," he said. "People can make what they want of it, but what I know is that part of it is over with."

Paxson's comments came a day after a flurry of rumors. Speculation picked up Wednesday, with one report saying the Bulls, Sacramento Kings and Lakers were discussing a three-way deal that would bring the superstar to Chicago.

That scenario had Paxson sending Ben Gordon and a signed-and-traded P.J. Brown to Sacramento, Chicago's Ben Wallace and the Kings' Ron Artest heading to Los Angeles. Paxson dismissed the rumor, saying a deal involving Brown would send the Bulls over the luxury tax threshold -- something they're reluctant to do.

Bryant drew some boos during introductions before the Lakers' season-opening 95-93 loss to Houston on Tuesday, after calling the front office a mess and asking to be traded during the offseason. The jeers turned to cheers as Bryant scored 18 of his 45 points in the fourth quarter to lead a comeback.

The trade deadline isn't until February, so it's possible talks between the Lakers and Bulls could resume.

"Who knows?" Paxson said. "The reality is that right now, it's done."

Paxson was concerned the issue would become a distraction, so he decided to put it to rest.

"I think today sends a message that our guys don't have to worry about anything right now," Paxson said.

Then again, coach Scott Skiles wondered: "What's resolving anything in all sports until the trading deadline?"

"Just because this rumor at some point dies down, does that mean another one's not going to crop up in two weeks?" he asked. "It's ongoing, it's all the time. Now, this is one that involves a very, very high profile player, so I understand the extra attention on it."

With the rumors swirling, Chicago played a flat first half and was just as bad at the end in losing the season opener 112-103 at New Jersey on Wednesday. Just about every Bull's name has surfaced in rumors, and Luol Deng acknowledged the Kobe questions are wearing on him.

"I am," he said when asked if he's annoyed by them. "But you guys want to get to the bottom of it so I've just got to keep answering your questions."

Several issues stand in the way of a Bryant deal.

Bryant has a no-trade clause and can opt out in the summer 2009, although he has said he wouldn't mind playing in Chicago. Paxson does not want to gut his roster or part with Deng, who appeared to be on the verge of stardom last season.

Would Bryant want to go to a Bulls team without Deng?

Paxson and Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf met with Bryant when he was a free agent in 2004. He wound up re-signing with the Lakers for seven years and $136.4 million, with that opt-out clause.

"He liked what he heard," Paxson said. "For that reason, he likes the Chicago Bulls, which is obviously flattering."

But he apparently won't be joining them in the near future.

According to Ric Bucer the Bulls and any other team and the Lakers only said that stuff so there team wouldn't play with crummy attitudes....

I still think Kobe will be traded weather it's to the Bulls or even to the Hawks. Kobe WILL BE traded.

Since you failed to read any of my posts since its above your reading level to read more then two paragraphs. When did I say that Kobe wasn't playing 1-5? When did I say that he was getting his teammates involved? When did I say that Kobe does trust his teammates? Where does the Kobe not playing 1-5 basketball argument in my posts come in?

Which makes me wonder what all the posts were about, because clearly they had nothing to do with what I was saying.

lol honestly, what does your posts have to do with anything? All you've been doing is trying to reinforce your illusion of what a team should be, what you want a team to be has jack squat to do in the NBA, it's only what you want. You're basically saying that if you were the best player around, and none of your teammates could do jack squat, that you would still trust them. You would still trust the guy in the corner that can't make a three to save his life, you would still pass it to him because you trust him. Don't bullsh!it us. When your team can't perform but you know you can, go ahead, go for it. But so far tonight, Kobe scored early but then started giving it up.

There you go sir, one paragraph. I've dumbed down to your reading level... eww

Yea I saw him and he actually played with his team and passed. And how many points did he end up with because he passed?? Only 16. I would like him to pass like that more often, but I think that might be a rare thing and not last, because guys stepped up that usually don't...but it will be interesting to see.
