"New York Daily News -
Chicago didn't exactly impress Luol Deng with its first offer for a new deal.

The Bulls' five-year, $50 million offer is about $20 million shy of what several other teams feel Deng is worth".

If thats true they need to step there game up or Deng may not sign an extension.

That's $10 million per season, I don't see the big deal... I'd probably up it to the $55-60 million range, but I seriously doubt Paxson dishes out $70 million, because he has said a number of times he doesn't want to be stuck with big contracts.

It would be interesting if they didn't work out a deal and Deng is a FA in a while.

I'm hoping for that just because I love big FA signings and big Trades as well as Rebuilding processes.

Well i'm a huge Deng fan which has made me a little bit of a Chicago fan. But if he went somewhere else and does good...I'd like to see that. As long as its not LA or Miami. (No offense)

If Deng went anywhere else you know he will try to show the Bulls up.

If Deng left he would show everyone up...but I don't think he's the kind of person that would hog the ball a ton when playing the Bulls and just try to kill them.

And I'll always be a Laker Hater.....its in my blood.

Even though Chris Mihm is awesome.

Deng isn't going anywhere. He'll either accept this deal, giving the Bulls more money to sign Ben Gordon, or the Bulls will offer Deng more and sign him.

Well ya know the NBA is where amazing happens so wouldn't it be amazing if the Bulls didn't get him or Gorden...
Damn that would suck.
The Bulls will sign both or them wheather it be now or at the start of FA time.

Well by the looks of it, Gordon will not be a Bull next year, especially if Deng wants more money.
