haha mexi, you cant put extensions in dreads, your hair has to lock up. Thats how it grows, if you could put extensions in dreads his hair would have never been long in the first place.

Yes, they do exist. They are very similiar to braid extentions. They are added to the ends of the dreads or can be used to start dreads and cut later or left forever. When Whoopi Goldberg did Ghost she cut her front dreads for the role so they could blend her edges with the wigs she wore in the film. She then had extensions added. They were synthetic additions that you could easily see the difference for many years. Don't be cheap, get human hair. Also, Erikah Badu had fake dreads, and then she shaved her head when she was outed as a fraud.

I didnt know that was from one month to another, my friend had tried to get extensions but he told me they wouldnt work for dreads.

Here in Charlotte, it would be rare to see a group of guys w/o em. I attend school in Greensboro and I run with a group of about 6 dudes daily. 3 of em have dreads.
