From:RealGM & MLive.com -

The Denver Nuggets have discussed trading J.R. Smith to Detroit for Flip Murray. However, there are a couple of issues that make it unlikely the deal will be completed.

Detroit wants to include Ronald Dupree, which isn't necessarily something the Nuggets want. In addition, there are some concerns on Detroit's part about whether
Smith, who has had his share of problems on and off the court, would be a good fit with their current roster
I wouldn't mind having J.R. on the Pistons but they need to get rid of Ronald Dupree.

that would be such a dumb trade. i don't think Flip Murray is worth sh*t.
Dupree is a waste of a roster spot on any team.

Murray is a pretty good PG, he comes off the bench with a lot of energy. But JR Smith has been doing good and can hit the outside shot, so I would like this trade.

That be so sweet we would be able ta get another scorer off the bench and he can give the Pistons some flair ...Like his fast break dunks etc....

I would do that in a heartbeat.

Well Dupree is a waste though and as for what DJT said about Flip Murray is true, He is an explosive and creative scorer and he plays mostly like a streetballer with his ballhandling skills and he might even get the chance to start in Denver.

Jr has a great upside ...
He is young (20,21)
He can shoot(His shot will only get better)
He can attack(Dunk and still put it down with the foul)
He will only get better.(He'll be good not great but good enough we can develop him with Amir)

I would jump on this if I was JoeD ....

I'm gunna pray for this to go down.

This trade would be GREAT for our team, we get a great backup for Rip and a guy who can start. We get to keep Nazr, and if this trade goes down it will be more likely Webber comes back! Boy do I hope this goes down, it would be virtually picture perfect. I pray for this to go down.

Also I really like J.R. I would love this deal. Add more great players to what is already a great bench.

Unlikley doesn't mean it won't, and that's why like 3 people said they are praying it happens.

Adding Ronald Dupree would kill the deal but the Pistons are worried about Smith on & off court problems.

We should just do it he'll be a good player in the future.
He,Amir,Hot Rod,J-Maxx can all envolve togther...

Plus we could just trade Nazr with Dupree or just cut Dupree.

Really, if the Nuggets want Flip then who cares if we throw in Dupree.

BKS you want him back on the Bulls.
Sure, he did have a pretty decent rookie season in Chicago. I wanted us to sign him last off-season when he was a free agent, since we really could have used some size in the backcourt and since he's also not that bad scorer (when given minutes). I'm pretty sure he got around 6 PPG in around 20 MPG his rookie year with the Bulls...

I just want him off the Pistons...
He can jump and Dunk but that's it.

Cuz I mean every NBA player should be able to shoot a little but we don't need him.

Why does it matter who's on the Pistons bench? Once you get passed the 8th or 9th guy, they aren't really going to see any minutes...
