Gosh May, I think this guy could be pretty good if he could stop with the injuries.

Yeah, I hope he gets healthy for good soon.. I think he's got potential to be a good player in this league.

Also, <Censored> Duke!

I second this...

May is a fat ass, who needs to get in shape if he actually wants to make a difference for the Bobcats. This isn't college where you can just bulldoze over your defender (and not get called for a foul)...

well this wont hurt the team alot now this will give walter hermann the chance to get the starting job and we still have davidson and harrington on the bench i think davidson might have a intersteing season not 100%sure yet but knowing mj i'm sure we will move okafor back to pf and start that bum primo brezec but iin the half season he did play hermann was real good but now i want to know will the bobcats resign may his contract is expireing in the off season like others have posted he's got alot of potential but now hes turing injury phrone :headsmack: as of right now line up will be felton pg j rich sg wallace sf hermann pf c okafor if we do start hermann i'm not sure if he can get the rebounds on defense hes more of shoot frist forward but we will be allright if matt carroll playes like l he did last year he can light in up in the 6th man role.

and cc06 i hate that your laughing cuz your a duke fan but this is funny that hes so out of shape is tearing his knees up and yeha bks your right some time i think it was a mistake picking him . but i fell sorry for him.

May wouldn't have started anyways...
yes he was if i was right the bobcats are trying to move okafor to center only so the pf job was up for grabs with may vs hermann but as you can see may got hurt again  it sucks he keeps on geting hurt. but hey the man is young maybe he has a chance to get back in shape and turn it a round and stop being a bust pick. at the rate hes going his career might be over befor it starts good.

Yea this is sad b/c when he does get the chance to play he does a terrific job, I remember last season when they played the Cavs, LeBron drove they lane for a potential game winner and May came in and blocked his layup, and then starred him down. Its a shame he could have been a very good pro, if not for his health

as for CC06, I know your a Bluedevil's fan but c'mon, this dude is a human before he's a Tarheel, you gotta at least hope for his health.

I wasnt around for that (I dont think) but thats messed up too.

Im just saying if Reggie Miller got hurt for the season I would have been relieved, b/c he wouldnt be there to scorch us, as he did so many times, but I would still hope for the best. I mean May doesnt play for UNC anymore. so you dont have to watch him play Duke.

From ESPN.com
LOS ANGELES -- Charlotte Bobcats reserve forward Adam Morrison is likely done for the season after an MRI exam on Sunday revealed a torn ligament in his left knee.

The injury occurred with about 5½ minutes left in the third quarter of Saturday night's 113-93 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Morrison was attempting to defend Luke Walton on a drive to the basket and crumpled to the floor in severe pain while clutching his left knee.

"Our medical staff has had a chance to review the MRI, and they're saying right now they believe there is some sort of tear," coach Sam Vincent said Sunday, about an hour before the Bobcats took on Phoenix in the second day of the annual Staples Center shootout.

"Until they get in there and do whatever they do, who knows? But they are saying there's a good chance he will be out for the year. So I'm not counting on him playing," Vincent added.

Morrison, the third overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft, was the top scorer in college basketball two seasons ago with Gonzaga -- averaging 28.1 points. As an NBA rookie, he averaged 11.8 points in 78 games. He was expected to play a significant role in a smaller lineup Vincent was going to employ once the season began. As one of the first two players off the bench, Morrison was expected to play about 20-25 minutes a game and contribute 14-16 points.

"I talked to him before the coaches and players meeting this morning when he had just gotten back from taking the MRI, and he pretty much knew the results," Vincent said. "He's obviously down."

Morrison remained at the team's hotel Sunday. He will fly back to Charlotte with his teammates on Monday and be re-examined by team physician Dr. Glenn Perry. A date for surgery will be determined once the swelling in Morrison's knee subsides.

"It's disappointing with Adam going down -- especially because he's been putting so much effort in during the summer, trying to pick up our system and improve his defense," said Vincent, who will distribute Morrison's minutes among Derek Anderson, Walter Hermann and Matt Carroll.

Morrison is being paid nearly $3.25 million this season after making $3 last season under terms of the NBA's rookie pay scale. The team has the option to renew the contract in years three and four of the deal.
