The Raptors still have talent we might not be in the playoffs but we won't be last in the East I can bet

I don't know. The Raptors are pretty bad on paper, not much besides Bargnani and a bunch of unproven young guys. At least the other teams in the East have proven players, Toronto is gonna rely on DeRozan, Sonny Weems, Amir Johnson, Ed Davis, etc. The backcourt of Barbosa and Jack/Calderon isn't scaring anybody either.

I just don't see who they're better than. Cleveland has Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison, so they at least have a couple former All-Stars. LOL New Jersey has Brook Lopez and Devin Harris (possibly Carmelo Anthony). Indiana won't be very good, but I like the young trio of Hibbert, Granger, and Collison. Detroit has talent that just doesn't work well together. The Bobcats are a possible playoff team and I love the additions of John Wall and Evan Turner in Washington and Philadelphia. I just don't see how Toronto is better than any of these teams, but maybe I'm wrong.

There is no way in hell that Evan Turner comes even remotely close to winning the ROTY. He sucks.

LOL How does he suck? He's very similar to Brandon Roy if you ask me.

Winning ROY might be a stretch for Turner, but I feel that if he is able to help lead the 76ers back into the playoffs, then he should share the award with Wall. Kind of similar to how I felt Carmelo should have won the award in 2003 (or at least been co-ROY with LeBron).

Great minds obviously think alike. LOL

You seem to be a little biased towards the Hawks though. ;)

Jamal Crawford, Jordan Crawford, and Jeff Teague all winning awards coming off the bench seems a little out there. I can't really remember anybody ever winning Sixth Man of the Year back-to-back years and if Teague is as improved as you say and Jordan is good enough to make the All-Rooke team, Jamal's numbers will go down. Teague has a lot of work ahead of him if he's gonna win MIP too.

Not to mention the Bulls are knocking Atlanta out in the first round :p

The same goes for the Nets without Melo. Just replace the 14 with a 13 there.

I gotta have some confidence in my team lol. Teague has been working ALL summer so I figure once he gets that starting job (which is basically his to take) he'll be set. I was just having faith with the awards tho haha I think if Jamal wins 6th man Jordan prolly won't be 2nd team just minutes wise, but I have been hearing alot of good things about JC2 in ATL scrimmages lately.

and you KNOW 6 years of chemistry ain't nothin to mess wit haha

There's a difference between having confidence and being unrealistic.

You're right. but in this case I'm just being confident. If I was being unrealistic then I'd make ATL the champs.

Eastern Conference Standings:
1. Heat
2. Bulls
3. Magic
4. Celtics
5. Hawks
6. Bucks
7. Bobcats
8. 76ers

Western Conference Standings:
1. Lakers

(maybe the lakers wont be this far ahead record wise, but they are far and away the best in the west. not even close regardless of what the records may be at the end of the regular season)

2. Mavs
3. Spurs
4. Thunder
5. Jazz
6. Suns
7. Blazers
8. Hornets

East: Heat
West: Lakers
Champ: I'll say Heat right now

Regular Season Awards:
Most Valuable Player - Derrick Rose is going to EXPLODE
Defensive Player of the Year - Dwight Howard
Sixth Man of the Year - James Harden?
Most Improved Player - Im rooting for Wayne Ellington. This is always straight up guess. I'll say Jerryd Bayless
Rookie of the Year - John Wall
Coach of the Year - I guess Spoelstra already won right? I hate this award. Why does Phil only have 1? because all his teams were supposed to be good? so are the Heat this year. and Spoelstra almost won the award a few years ago. same with Doc when he won the award and Mike Brown. BS

doing this disappoints me. there's only 3 teams in the NBA (LA, Miami, Boston) and Boston has the "If they are healthy and have enough gas at the end" tag next to them

You guys have too much faith in the Suns. No Amar'e is huge. I don't think they make the playoffs and I think the Rockets take their place.

even if he doesnt win it, he'll at least get votes

and i thought Gil would have a 2009 Chauncey season. Chauncey didnt win MVP (he should have), but he was the REAL MVP. I thought Gil and the Wizards were going to be better last year. i liked their roster
