I have never been more devastated by a player's career being destroyed by injuries. As a Rockets fan who firmly believes the Rockets would have won a title with a healthy McGrady and Yao for a span of 5-8 years, seeing them deteriorate like that was one of the hardest things for a fan to go through from afar. Did it affect me in my day to day? Not in the slightest, but the pain you feel for the individuals involved is real. Thanks for the great memories, Yao, and I'm just happy I got to see the last incredibly skilled Center this league has seen.
