- Michael Vick out of prison news...what else is new?

- Ryan Leaf arrested on drug & burglary charges

- A Canadian tourist reportedly raped while at the home of Kerry Rhodes

- Randy Starks hits a Deputy with his truck while trying to dodge a traffic stop

- Ex-cons in control of Dallas' facilities

What the hell is going on here? Roger Goodell has got to be pounding his fists right now as there is zero good news around the NFL. I am personally sick & tired of these guys acting like a bunch of thugs, drug addicts and downright criminal scum. When the hell will the day come where high-paid & high-profile athletes start acting like the rest of civilization?

I am not asking these guys to be role-models or perfect citizens...just act like the normal f'ing people act!

Sorry, sick of the bullsh.. around the NFL right now, had to get this off my chest.

I find the Kerry Rhodes story a little vague and Im in need of more details. So for that one Kerry Rhodes isnt being investigated fortunately.

Completely agreed AE this league has just gotten out of hand. It's a shame because Goodell has done a good job of cracking down on bad behavior around the league.

And as far as i know, Vick hasnt been allowed back into the league, so I honestly think with all the bad crap going on, hes not going to let Vick back in just to prove a point.

I think they will allow Vick back in, if he shows remorse...cause Vick back in will give the NFL lots of attention plus people will want to watch him to see if he's still got it.

I honestly dont think the NFL wants attention, because they mostly would want positive attention and idk if allowing Vick back in would bring positive attention.

Doesn't mean it's "okay" by any standards & it doesn't mean any of us have to like it. No matter how much money you have, lets not act like criminals.

I also don't mean for this topic to turn into yet another debate over whether or not Mike Vick is allowed back into the league. We all know he will eventually be allowed back into the league. When & where isn't important right now...but its an inevitable conclusion either way.

ya i know, im just saying his reinstatement is in relation to this topic, and that not letting him back in for now would send a statement.
Ya hell get in eventually...

The whole thing with the NFL is getting out of hand, just be glad its the offseason, otherwise all of this would be shadowing the games during the regular season. I honestly dont know what more htey could do to send larger statements and to clean up the sport.

Its really sad because these guys are pushing it. Roger Goodell is quite the feared presence around the league right now...the guy immediately stepped in and made it known that he won't tolerate the "BS" from players.

From Pac-Man to Vick to Marshawn...they have all felt his wrath. All these clowns that have acted up this off-season will to, its only a matter of time.

My hope is that eventually Goodell's punishments continue to get harsher & harsher, forcing these players to make much better use of their time in the off-season.

i know its not okay but because of they fact that they have money and are famous they think they wont get punished for it, also some of them probably acted like that before they were famous

If I were Ryan Leaf, I probably would've been arrested for burglary and drug charges a long time ago
