Cleveland Plain Dealer - Browns cornerback Eric Wright is determined to bounce back from a poor 2010 season.

Wright received death threats from Cleveland fans last season.

"I went from people expecting me to be a top cornerback in the league to receiving death threats," Wright said. "It was a lot to deal with."

The Browns extended a second-round tender to Wright last week.

The tide turned for Wright in Week 3 of the 2010 season when he surrendered three touchdown catches to Baltimore's Anquan Boldin.

"It's hard to dig yourself out of that type of hole when you have the worst game of your career," Wright said.

"Then, the team's losing and we had a young corner in Joe Haden who looked great playing. There was a lot of negative attention around my struggles and it was hard to overcome."

Well damn. He played terrible but obviously shouldn't be getting death threats.

Meh, MJD got death threats from Chicago Bear fans when he called out Jay Cutler on twitter. Even told the dude they were gonna shoot his son whenever he was back in Chicago.

So Cleveland's hit list right about now is LeBron and Wright.
