Wolves Working On Signing Rubio

A Timberwolves contigent led by David Kahn are spending the next week in Spain for this weekend's Euroleague Final Four and to continue work they intend will get Ricky Rubio signed to a NBA contract within a month.

Rubio's Regal Barcelona team never made it to the Final Four scheduled for his hometown this year because it got beat out by Greece's Panathinaikos team in a playoff series in March.

Rubio has a $1 million buyout with Regal Barcelona. By NBA rules, the Wolves can contribute only $500,000 to such a buyout.

most of you doubt his ability. but what if he does come over and impress, how would all of you act? everyone loved him, then hated him and still hate him. lol. ive always thought he can come over and be a solid player. close to borderline allstar. but that team needs tons of help so that wont be soon. lol

I remember when we almost traded Rondo to Memphis for the #2 overall pick to get Rubio.

We didnt, and Memphis went with Thabeet, and Rubio has been average in Europe.
