The Wolves made an offer of the number two overall pick to the Lakers for Andrew Bynum, according to a source.

Minnesota has been actively shopping the number two pick in hopes of acquiring a proven veteran.

Lakers probably want no part of this. Bynum is still loved by ownership and they'd be left with a black hole at center unless they moved Pau there and played D-Will at the 4.

Unless they know/think they have Dwight in the bag for next summer, I agree with you. Don't see any reason to make this deal.

Let's trade the only player that actually showed up in the playoffs.
But nah, if they do this it's 100% a preparation for Dwight.

Lakers won't do it. They are too high on Bynum I think.

they should be high on him

a big reason they're so high is because he is their only tradable asset alongside Odom

do you folks really think Bynum is worth the 2nd pick? I can see the point for Minnesota, as he'd be paired with Kevin Love, but is this really a player who's worth the 2nd pick?

I laughed when I read this

Can't ever see the Lakers just giving up Bynum for a pick. They'd need something more concrete for a player like Drew

The question is not if Bynum is worth the #2 pick, but whether the #2 pick is worth Bynum
