Witten Has Lacerated Spleen

Jason Witten suffered a slightly lacerated spleen on Monday night and the tight end may not be ready to play for the Cowboys by Week 1.

Witten suffered a "very serious" small laceration that caused bleeding, but the organ is not ruptured.

He will be re-evaluated in a week to 10 days, and surgery remains a possibility.

i dont even know where the spleen is but that doesn't sound good.
