Williams Heading to St. Louis as Defensive Coordinator

New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams has agreed to take the same position with the St. Louis Rams, league sources said Monday.

Williams is informing both teams of his decision.

Williams served as defensive coordinator for recently hired Rams coach Jeff Fisher with the Tennessee Titans from 1997 to 2000.

Former Jacksonville Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio could be a candidate to replace Williams in New Orleans.

Former New York Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer has been offered the Rams' offensive coordinator job and will accept it, a league source told NFL Network's Michael Lombardi on Sunday.
