Pretty simple question and one, that as a Bulls fan, has been weighing on my mind a lot.

I feel the fact that he was cleared to play and didn't come back just meant he was taking time to be even more ready for next season? I don't know, or it could show a lack of mentality to play through an injury....

IDK Rose played through a ton of injuries last year and his not coming back at all this season really had me surprised but I do fully expect him to come back just as good or possibly even better than he was when he won MVP

Yes. I think he probably developed a better jumpshot during rehab, and that could definitely help him.

It's still puzzling as to why he didn't come back. It doesn't take this long to recover

Yes, and the Bulls are gonna be the clear-cut favorites to win the East around ASW.

If he isn't, it'll be karma for abandoning his teammates this past year.

Yea he will, but it will take some time to get back to 100%. He's such a douche though for not coming back this year. Every doctor cleared him, every medical staffer in Chicago cleared him, and they all say he wouldn't feel 100% until he gets back on the court because that's the next and final step. He just didn't listen to them. He'll be fine. I mean it took a little while but Shumpert in NY looked great down the stretch and he he had the same injury -- Rose will be fine and he's young enough to get back to full strength.

Not as soon as he gets back, it will take some time.

It's tough to say.  Based on everything I read about him throughout the recovery process, he worked on his jumpshot religiously.  If his jumper is drastically improved, and he's that much more comfortable with it, we may see him settle for more mid-range jumpers and threes.  Even before he got hurt, he was taking way too many damn threes.  His ability to attack the basket and finish at the rim, and/or get to the line was what made him such a special talent.  I just hope he doesn't change his game too much.

As far as his athletic ability and explosion, I saw him reach eye level with the rim while jumping off his left leg during warmups. I think he'll be alright.  It's just a matter of trusting his knee, and how long it will take for him to put the injury behind him
