The smoke has cleared following the Melodrama, and here is what we look like:

Goddamn buffoons.

I’ll start this off by saying something positive to soften the blow:

-Prokhorov. He has balls. But obviously, he assumed that his money and Jay Z’s worthless ass would be able to do the job. He maybe didn’t really know what he was getting into. But the man tried. I respect that. But some things could have and should been done better. More on that later.

-Regardless, we have a ton of draft picks, and two young big men that will improve, but are in need of a star player to lead them. So we are going to get better…IF WE STAY THE COURSE, AND MAKE THE YOUTH MOVEMENT THE NUMBER 1 PRIORITY. So far, it has not been, and that was clear early on this season when we’re watching pieces of spit like Graham and Ross waste our fricking time by stinking up the goddamn gym.

-I have faith in Billy King’s drafting ability. Avery should have zero input on how this roster is shaped from here on out

About Avery now….I like Avery, i like the hardline approach but if he cannot develop young players, or endure 3 more seasons of being complete ass water, he needs to be removed. There is no excuse for what I’ve seen from Brook Lopez this season. Avery has to share some of the blame.

Avery and the Nets FO also needs to stop alienating players. They didn’t do themselves any favors by whoring themselves out to Melo. NONE.

1. we lost Harris

2. Favors development has clearly been stunted by being treated as trade fodder from day 1. If you believe otherwise, sorry you are full of it. Lay off of the kid. He will be good player, if the idiot Nets and the idiot fans give him time and room to develop. If I was Favors, I wouldn’t want any part of this sack of s—— organization after the way they’ve paraded me around like a slave on an early 1800s auction block. You think that this kid isn’t human? He should just not care? You are goddamn delusional.

-This organization is run sloppily. The trade talks should have been killed in SEPTEMBER

newsflash: DENVER WAS GOING TO DRIVE THE GODDAMN PRICE UP ON NY NO MATTER IF WE GOT INVOLVED OR NOT

The only thing the Nets accomplished this weekend was embarrassing themselves, and pretty much killing this team. Not that the team was worth a damn, but you still want to present a watchable product and these guys will not be worth watching for the rest of this year. I’m saving my money unless the tickets are free, and I assume that they will. I wanted to hit a Nets game for my birthday next month, but why should I spend my personal day of celebrating my life by watching this crap

Avery is on very thin ice with me. Outlaw is reason number one. Alienating Troy Murphy is number 2. Completely losing Devin, who is not perfect by any means but has been the Nets best player this year next to The Hump, is inexcusable. But that also falls on the front office.

I do not blame Devin one bit for not wanting anything to do with this cursed franchise. He will be the next Nets player to leave and tell other players “man, don’t go there”.
You think that Kidd hasn’t been telling people that?

as far as 2012 goes…FORGET ABOUT IT. Don’t say a flocking thing to me about 2012 because my response will not be tactful. WE ARE NOT GETTING CP3. WE ARE NOT GETTING DERON. WE ARE NOT GETTING ANYONE WORTH A SQUAT

NetsDaily, Net Income and the crew, I love this site and you guys. You bust your asses bringing us info about this team. I suggest that there should be a lot of focus on the NCAA Conference tourneys and the big tourney itself because Net fans should become educated on this year’s prospects, and the next.

The man that will save the Nets is sitting somewhere in a high school or college class room right now, staring off into space, thinking about his dream of playing in the NBA. Whoever this kid will be, I hope that he hurries up because Net fans as a collective have been waiting for him for 30 years.

Prokhorov realized early that this is a star’s league, so he went about trying to get some. He failed. Now I hope that he realizes that he’s going to build his franchise like he built his fortune: from the bottom up. Once that mentality becomes firmly entrenched into the pea brains of the folks running this pathetic, sadsack, 2nd class franchise, the better off we’ll be.

No one respects people who are desperate and who beg. Men like Prokhorov and Jay Z should already know this.

No more begging, no more media circuses. Just hard work, development, and building a future should be the focus. Show some pride and determination to do things the hard way and wanting to succeed with your hands being calloused and bloodied instead of chasing after a bunch of wussy boys that can’t stand on their own two feet in the field of NBA competition. You want to be like the Spurs? Act like some goddamn men. The Spurs do not beg, nor do they tolerate crap. They run a tight ship. They don’t force RC Buford to get involved in f’ing fiascos and media circus side shows. They handle business. If we want to model ourselves after them, having some pride and a no nonsense attitude is a start.

Press conferences and highly publicized courting of players that had made it clear months ago that they did not want to play here. Stop wasting everyone’s time and maybe folks will spend money on your garbage product.

All of us right now should hope that the Nets lose as many games as possible to at least ensure that we’ll have a top 3 pick. If Avery can’t handle that, well he can leave. This is a lost season. No development, no steps forward. Only humilation, alienation, and a renewal of apathy.

Well, lets get ready for a bunch of half assed trades. I’m begging(no pun intended) for something out of left field.

Good luck,. I hope Prokhy is really ready to lose a lot of cash because no one will be going to newark, and no one will be flocking to the Barclays. The Nets will bleed with all of the hype and glamour surrounding the Knicks.
Except for the Avery part, this is spot on. Avery is one worthless sack of shit.
