I realize that the Bulls are gonna take a major dip, as far a contention for the NBA title is concerned, but I still think they are good enough to win the division. I'm just not really impressed by anyone else in the Central. Let's not forget that the Bulls got thru a large portion of last season without Rose and still finished with the best record in the NBA. Plus, they might get Rose back sometime after the All-Star break.

I don't see it out of the question either. If Pistons played in the Western Conference, I'd say no shot. In the Eastern Conference, the teams (6-8) tend to make it in barely over .500. Heck, in the 2010-2011 season, the 76ers were the 6th seed at .500, and the Bucks were the 8th seed at (35-47). You go around .500, and you have a shot at it.

As for this division, I'm going with the Pacers. I like how the team looks, and they have been more competitive recently. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bulls won it though, even playing without Rose for however long.

The 8th seed last year in the East was 4 games above .500

Take Orlando out of the playoffs, put Brooklyn in, and that's what this year will most likely look like. With the off chance that Atlanta takes a huge fall.

I definitely like Thib's chances. He is one of those coaches that has a great system and we got depth on our team. Obviously, Pacers got a shot at it.
