What I think they should do, barring they get the right situation, is to trade down.

Yes Bridgewater is amazing, but guys like Hundley and Mariotta look damn good as well

If they can trade down with TB, to like the #2 or #3 overall pick, and get extra picks too, it would be great for them. Remember this is Gus Bradley's team. The amount Clowney could do for JAC would be insane in a Bradley defense. You can go get another QB later, or suck another year and get your QB then. But this is basically how I see it:

1. Jadaveon Clowney is too good to pass up in a Gus Bradley defense.
2. Bridgewater isn't making this current Jags team anything relevant still.

Idc about "you take the franchise QB no matter what" thing. Bridgewater isn't Luck, and those Colts had a lot more talent than the Jags do offensively. They have no RB (MJD is gone), no good TEs. They have 2 WOs, but with their OL, those 2 will be as productive with. Henne as Teddy for the time being.

This Jags team isn't like the 2011 Colts/Skins or the 2012 Chiefs, where an added QB and coaching system makes them relevant. Those 3 teams had Pro Bowlers on them, and Jacksonville does not

Personally I would take Clowney. But given their current make up you'd have to go with Teddy.

All depends on Clowney's injury issues.

I don't even think there are any issues.  He's basically just taking the year off.
