Houston Astros ace Roy Oswalt wouldn't mind getting out of Space City, where he's spent his whole career since entering the bigs in 2001. After all, the guy with the 6-10 record and 3.08 ERA would likely have a winning record in a lot of other cities.
Sports Illustrated is reporting that the Chicago White Sox are interested in obtaining Oswalt before the July 31 non-waiver trading deadline. But the magazine Tweets that the team is "leery of nl-to-al switch."
A month ago, it looked like the Sox would be unloading big salaries at the trading deadline, but at the All-Star break, the team sits atop the American League Central by half a game, going 9-1 in its last 10 games.
