He doesn't want to be in Houston anymore and they want to get something for him. Is there a team out there with the assets needed and the willingness to take all the baggage that comes along with Dwight Howard? Or is he still with Houston by the end of the year?

The biggest rumor is Miami with something centered around a Dwight/Whiteside base currently. I haven't heard of much more with this situation.

More like run away when James Harden forgets what your name is or that he even has teammates

7 assists per game is solid for a SG but Harden does need to be a better team leader tho

Yup. Bosh is his homie and the Heat would take him in a heartbeat.

Dwight's problem in Houston is that he's not the megastar he was in Orlando. Dwight walked on water in Orlando but he has clearly taken a backseat to Harden as the star with the Rockets. Consider a big reason Dwight didn't want to stick around LA was because he refused to stand in Kobe's shadow.

Hit the name right on the head. Total bitch when it comes to needing the limelight.

I'm pretty sure Dwight doesn't care about being in the limelight, his FGA is pretty similar to what it's alway been in Houston. Could it possibly be something else, like I don't know, he just doesn't like it in Houston?

Dwight Howard on the situation:

“I chose to go to Houston (as a free agent in the summer of 2013), so why would I just say, 'I'm not happy' and leave? I chose this place, you know what I'm saying? And I want to make this thing work here. People can say what they want about me and James and that whole situation, but I came here. And the biggest reason was because of him, because I want both of us to grow and be great basketball players and be great teammates together. It's on us to do it. We are the ones who are held accountable for the good things and the bad things that happen to this team, and I came here with that mission, so that both of us can grow."

He literally chose Houston though (as evidenced by Me7o's quote) so I don't really think that's it...

But that doesn't mean he wants the limelight. He went to Houston went Harden had already established himself, if he wanted to be the guy why would he have forced his way out of Orlando in the first place?

I don't think Dwight really knows what he wants to be honest. He probably wanted to win but then found out that it's going to be tough without a 3rd star in today's NBA and Houston hasn't really put much else around him to compare to that. They've got nice role pieces, but nothing that I would say puts them over the top or even close for that matter...

I 100% don't think it's the limelight, I think he hasn't given up on Houston yet as evidenced by that quote but I think you can read between the lines and interpret that James hasn't exactly been living up to the expectation of being great teammates together

Yea, and it kinda sounds like not a ton of guys really like Harden. If Bosh had chose to go to Houston instead of Miami this team would be insane with Bosh and Parsons
