TORONTO - The agent for Mikhail Grabovski says one day his client will be able to laugh about his profane exit from Toronto — at the expense of the Maple Leafs.
While Grabovski was not snapped up during rush hour of Friday’s free agency and is still available as of Sunday, Gary Greenstin says that is partly because he and the player are fielding multiple offers. “I never comment on negotiations, but several teams are interested,” Greenstin said Saturday.
Asked if that meant, say, three, four or five, Greenstin repeated “several.”
“Somebody wrote in Toronto that he wasn’t a playmaker. That’s totally wrong. He is a good playmaker,” Greenstin said.

Or does he stay in Toronto?

He totally ripped Carlyle apart. Doubt he returns to TO with him still there. If they somehow shed more salary, I'd be scared to see him in Chicago (they're still looking for a 2nd line C)

Calgary already has too many Toronto castoffs, and they'd find a way to massively overpay him, but he'd be a good fit there too. Plus, they wouldn't rush their C prospects.

He can't return unless you mean sometime down the road.

Either way, Grabovski is a good 2C. He can put up close to 60 points and score 20+ goals. He just didn't fit into Carlyle's system.

I have a feeling that he'll go to a division rival
