Paul Dotinno was quoting a source, says Umenyiora is done here.

DE Osi Umenyiora is very willing to play OLB in a 3-4 defense if it would facilitate a trade away from the Giants, a source with knowledge of his thinking said to CBSsports.com. Given that so many teams implement the scheme, Umenyiora's willingness to move away from DE -- where he has spent seven seasons -- improves his chances of being traded. Lions RapidReports
Not even close, when Gibril Wilson and Kawika Mitchell left I thought they were going to play pretty well. But Osi is different, he plays when he feels like it and he disappears during crucial times in games. He's also not a great teammate per say. You're only saying that because you're a Giants fan lol.
Giants No Longer Allowing Umenyiora To Seek Trade
Ohm Youngmisuk/ESPN.com - The Giants are no longer allowing Osi Umenyiora and his agent to seek a trade, according to sources.
New York gave the defensive end and agent Tony Agnone permission to seek out a trade earlier this week, but that window has now closed.
Agnone was unable to find a trade partner willing to surrender a first-round pick to the Giants in return for the disgruntled defensive end, who is seeking a new contract to replace the one that has nearly a total of $8 million remaining on the final two years.
