He will simply because he holds the record for sacks in a season.

I think he probably will. He was an amazing player who didn't get into trouble.

I couldn't bring up any reasons why he shouldn't.

well Favre retired also.
But you have to remember that each year 4 members are selected.
So you'll have
Favre
Strahan
Sapp
Ogden? Who else hasnt gotten in yet or might be on that ballot that im not thinking of?
Actually, its possible that Tiki could not get in first year. Not sure why, but its possible. so.... yyyyyyaaaa.

I don't think there's a max limit of years they can try and get in. If you don't get in within a certain amount of years though, then obviously the voters will stop nominating them.

Well I know in baseball there's only a certain amount of years because I remember Pete Roses last year was a couple years ago.

no, Pete Rose was never eligible and never will be because he was banned. It was only a few years ago that his 15 years for the Veterans Committee to put him on the ballot was up. The Veteran's Committee can still one day take him off but it probably wont happen.
HOF made it in either late 90's or early 00's that people on the list of ineligibility were unable to be inducted into the HOF.

Strahan is in no matter what. He was a top 5 DE of all-time. No doubt he's in.
