The Golden State Warriors have agreed to terms with restricted free agent forward Draymond Green on a 5-year, $85-million pact, according to Yahoo Sports' Marc J. Spears.

I feel like any other team signing him to this deal would be regretting it before the all star break next year, but he's absolutely worth it for the dubs.

he would have had the same impact on a few teams. if he would have been placed in the same role, he would have been fine. he is definitely better staying put though.

Agreed. He is in a perfect situation since he is given some ball handling duties, and the Warriors just so happen to have the two greatest shooters of all time who play off-ball incredibly well, so it allows him space to create for them, who proceed to bomb in contested threes for assists.

He's the forward version of Lance Stephenson.
Except for the fact that Green doesnt shoot 18% from 3.

I wasn't really comparing them as players, just their situations at the time of free agency.  I feel like that is sort of what would have happened to Green had he left a good situation like Lance did.
