I just saw on ESPN that Kurt Warner had almost retired after teammate Anquan Boldin was hit in the head on a play against the Jets. Wanrer texted his wife after the game, saying he was going to retire because he felt responsible for throwing the ball too high but later changed his mind after Boldin was released from hospital.

What?!?!? Do you have a source to this? That sounds crazy.

What bothers me is AFTER it happened they go right back to throwing the ball (with like 50 sec left in the game). If what he said was true, then what the hell was he doing dropping back for like 3 more passes? Everyone was booing them because it really made no sense. I was glad when he got picked, lol.

maybe it didn't really hit him until after the game. who knows. i can see why he'd feel like this though, but he is a veteran, he has to know that these things can happen. how do you think whoever hit him feels (i don't remember who it was).
