So I guess the recent charges against him were dropped but this tryout doesn't hold much promise at all. Cracking the lineup of an NL squad is extremely unlikely for a guy who can't play the outfield. This seems about the same as the tryout the Indians gave him, which was later revealed to be a "favor".Free-agent outfielder Vladimir Guerrero will work out for D-backs general manager Kevin Towers this week in the Dominican Republic.
