From realgm.com
New defensive end Jared Allen believes that the Vikings will be making a Super Bowl appearance at the end of the upcoming season, according to The Star Tribune.

"We expect to go to the Super Bowl," he said Sunday.

The Vikings took significant steps to improve themselves with the addition of Allen, receiver Bernard Berrian and safety Madieu Williams -- those three alone have been guaranteed $60 million -- this offseason.

Until they can develop a consistent passing game, they're nothing but a wildcard team at best.

Haha, yeah right. They're not even close yet. So he thinks they can get past the cowboys, packers (if they're still descent next year), eagles, and giants?

This is no better then Jon Kitna saying he was going to get 10 wins last year. As positive as I am, I wish they wouldn't say stuff like this. IMO, it's more likely to not happen if you say it is going to happen.

By what, 1 game last year? Big deal.

It's not like either team made the playoffs anyways.
