Eric Edholm of Pro Football Weekly writes that there is a "growing sense" that the Vikes will go after McNabb in trade, and he reiterates the idea that a conditional 2012 pick could be the price that gets the deal done. Edholm adds over the past two offseasons, McNabb was thought to be the backup plan for the team if a certain Mississippi-based QB didn't sign on.

So, whenever player movement is allowed, expect this to heat up. Scribes from nearly every media outlet have linked the two sides, so unless they've whiffed in their reporting thus far in the offseason, it seems as though there is definitely something there.

I wouldn't expect anything more than a 5th round pick.

Another old ass qb for the Vikings. Have fun being last in the division again this year.

Seriously? A Lions fan telling the Vikings to enjoy last place? Like you haven't been there for all of eternity and are only getting somewhere now because you've figured out how to not fuck up top 5 picks finally?

OMG. ME AND BC AGREE.. ITS THE END OF THE WORLD.

Nah, but yeah. .Pretty much this.
They haven't even got 1st round picks right.

Stafford is a fuck up for right now, and Suh was an obvious pick. If they DIDN'T pick him, then I'd be worried.

You sir, are funny.
This.

Come on infamous.. You can't really talk smack to a Vikings fan when they sniffed the NFC Title game, and you guys haven't even been in that same area code lately.

I didn't say we did. BC said last time we were relevant was back in the 50's. And we were relevant during the 90's. Didn't say we made the championship anywhere in this thread.

Lately? Try the 40's.
