Why are guests allowed to see user's profiles? I think that that should be changed because I sometimes receive AIM messages asking me to join someone's forum, and they can see some of our contact info. Thoughts?

Dont have your aim or etc on there. I dont have mine available. So that prevents them from contacting you.

Thanks for advice, that's done, still think guests shouldn't be able to see profiles.

you guys need to forward any and ALL people who try to RECRUIT - that is against the rules of any board

and, you're right, Guest shold not be allowed-- I just changed that in ACP --

Good catch Rios. This is also a good time to point out that its really never wise to consolidate everyone's contact info under a "AIM Thread" or anything closely related in title.

Guests can read threads & AIM Threads are a gold mine for spammers.

Glad to see it's taken care of, I look at the online list and I just notice sometimes guests will be looking at a member's profile so I thought I should bring it up.
