Note: Adding an Absurd Upset Pick option. Worth 5 points, if correct, -3 points if incorrect.

This Week's Absurd Upset Options: SEA/WAS, JAX/PITT. If enough users think it'd be absurd if Arizona upsets Denver, I'll include it. Just state your opinion in your post.

My Week 5 Upset Picks:

Vikings over Packers
I believe in what Norv is doing, and I believe in Teddy Bridgewater, after Sunday's performance. I love the way guys like Josh Robinson (seriously, this guy is balling) and Harrison Smith are playing in the secondary, and Xavier Rhodes is coming along, fast. Obviously, Aaron Rodgers is a scary opponent when he's at home, but the Packers haven't shown to be consistent yet and I'm excited to see how Zimmer tests that Packers OL.

Cardinals over Broncos
Without Knowshon Moreno, the Broncos have looked very vulnerable on offense because they can't get anything that resembles a running game going. The Cardinals have a nice secondary and the Honey Badger is getting healthier by the week. I don't know if Drew Stanton will continue to start, but he's earned the job. I'm hesitant to believe he can knock off Peyton Manning in Denver, but if any team as as good as the sum of its parts, it's Arizona

Jets beating Chargers. I don't really have a reason, just feel like the Jets win this game.

Also Cleveland

You can consider arizona over denver as an upset IMO. Stanton and in Broncos territory..but I'm not picking them to win.

I definitely consider it an upset, but should it fit into the "Absurd Upset" category worth 5 points or -3?

Think we're making this too complicated. Not sure how Houston Dallas is not an upset scenario.

That's not an upset, Tennessee shouldn't even be favored. They've been getting decimated week in and week out, while the Browns have played three quality opponents and each game has come down to a last second field goal.

Obviously the Titans will win now that I said that, but point remains.

It seemed like folks wanted spreads, so I added them in, but didn't want to include every game as an upset option.

As for Houston/Dallas--the Texans are pretty damn good outside of Ryan Fitzpatrick, who hasn't been that bad, so far. I don't really think it'd be surprising if Houston won. If you want to consider that an upset and pick Houston, I can see it. Up to you. I'll remove that asterisk, anyway.

I took them in pick em' but I don't know why Carolina is favored, let alone by 3. They're ass.
