Umenyiora's Contract For 2013 Voided

he 2013 contract of Osi Umenyiora with the New York Giants has been voided.​

The provision allowed the Giants to spread Umenyiora's $5 million cap hit from 2012 over two seasons.​

Umenyiora has expressed a desire to still return to the Giants in 2013.​

Interesting. He also said he'd fit well in with the Jets, so there's a strong possibility he's still playing at Metlife next year, but wearing green instead. I'd like to see him back, but at a small cost obviously.

and he is horrible vs the run. Unless he thinks he'd be a 3-4 DE? haha. Kiwanuka would probably be a better fit than Osi.

Osi cant play in the 3-4, period. He's too old.

Dwight Freeney was so ineffective last year at OLB, and so would Osi.

They are situational 4-3 pass rushers at this point in their careers
