When asked whether or not he had any contact with free agent cornerback Ty Law, Browns' coach Romeo Crennell said: ''I don't call him every day and he doesn't call me every day."

''Ty understands that he's going to have to wait until training camps are over and maybe some injuries develop before he gets the kind of opportunity he wants."

It's no surprise that people are beginning to look for the Browns to sign Law. As most of you remember, Law played under Crennell during the early stages of the Patriots' dynasty and Law knows Crennell's scheme to a "T".

Browns' general manager Phil Savage continues to claim that Law is 'too expensive' and that the chances of him ending up in Cleveland are 'slim to none'. Currently the Browns have 3rd year players, Eric Wright and Brandon McDonald, slotted as their starting corners. -AE

I would love to see him in Browns uniform but it seems Savage does not want to pay the man. We need more corner depth and would be a great guy to teach our talented young corners (Brandan McDonald and Eric Wright).
