Martell Webster returned Dec. 7 in Toronto, but played only five minutes before feeling pain in the foot. He has been in a protective boot since, and was originally forecasted to return to the practice floor around this time.

However, team doctors have now ordered two more weeks in the boot, after which he will be re-evaluated.

"The good news is that the injury itself is not a serious injury -- people come back from it," GM Kevin Pritchard said. "But it is concerning that it is taking this long, and that he came back and re-injured it. But that's not uncommon either, people do re-injure this type of injury. We just have to give it some extra time to bond the two bones back together that were fractured." -- The Oregonian
