I wouldn't say Ariza really moves the needle over the Parsons, Ariza may be marginally better defensively but he's not the same type of defender he used to be. I understand that matching depended on Bosh agreeing to the deal (for the record, why the fuck would he choose MIA over Houston if he wants to win titles?), but sometimes you gotta keep one of your best pieces, and one of those times is when you've promised title contention to guys like Howard and Harden.
