The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled Joe Colbornefrom their American Hockey League affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, according to Darren Dreger of TSN on Thursday morning.
Colborne will be replacing forward Frazer McLarenwho has fallen ill with the flu. McLaren has registered three goals, one assist, four points and 63 penalty minutes in 27 games this season. He enters competition on Thursday night averaging 5:09 of ice-time per game, which is the lowest total of any other forward on the Maple Leafs.
