Tony Parker will reportedly seek a max contract after his contract expires in 2011, and the Knicks are one likely destination.
Parker said he's open to leaving the Spurs and starting a new phase to his career, and he and wife Eva Longoria could be plotting a move to New York. Rumor has it Parker and Amare Stoudemire had plans to join forces, though that may just be a clever extrapolation based on recent events

im also hearing he might go there this off-season via a sign&trade deal

I saw something like this on realgm, but not this specific.

I never thought of TP as a playmaking PG, more of a scorer, but Im up for anything that will improve our team and this will definently improve our team.

TP - Gallo - DubC - Big Al - Amar'e

Should be able to get points in bunches, and should be a playoff team.

This would be a pretty nice deal for the Knicks. I think that could be the PG that Amare needs that Dez eluded to in a different thread.

also got this from the same site

The Knicks are widely expected to be major players for Parker's services, possibly even offering David Lee in a sign-and-trade deal. That would still leave them with enough cap space to add a free agent like Carlos Boozer in addition to restricted free agent Rudy Gay.

We should try that with CP3 lol

But it finally feels like we're making some moves after days of feeling like we were gonna drop the ball and lose out on every big name. But this may be old since Gay already signed his extension.

TP in New York would be amazing, especially seeing Eva in the stands would be nice too. I love the way TP plays he really gets to the rim and creates great opportunities for other teammates. And then you take into account that the Eastern Conference doesnt have as many great point guards as the west and that should help Parker.

I would be psyched to see him leave San Antonio, but seeing anything hurt the Spurs also makes me psyched.
