Tomlinson concedes starting job to S. Greene

LaDainian Tomlinson conceded Tuesday that Shonn Greene is ready to take over as the Jets' feature back.
Tomlinson pointed out that he's been the best running back in the league, and now he wants to be the best third-down back in the league. Barring the unexpected, Tomlinson will lead the backfield in catches but could finish third to Greene and Joe McKnight in carries. Greene's ADP of 5.01 will continue to climb in the coming months.

No shock, at all here.. Greene is the guy for the Jets, and it's going to be that way. McKnight and Bilal Powell from Louisville will push out LT sooner than he expects, too. IMO.

Definitely should not see either McKnight or Powell taking carries away from him, he proved in the beginning of last year that he can still be very effective, he's just too old to be productive for a full season being the main back. He faded in the end of the year but was great in the beginning.
