What is your opinion on it?

Does your team do it? If they do, are they effective at it?

Do they hedge just on high PnR's, or do they do it on sideline PnR's as well?

IMO, the Pels do it too much. You would think Anthony Davis would be good at it, and he isn't bad at it, but he often comes too far out and has to really bust his ass to get back in position. I think back to a game against the Lakers where Jordan Hill just killed us as the roll man because we were hedging out to far. He had 21 pts in that game.

I think the biggest thing is, being athletic and long isn't enough. You have to be smart, you have to know as the hedger when the ball handler is coming off that pick, and if you do it too late or too soon then it defeats the purpose. If it isn't judged correctly, you risk giving up the roll man or you have created a 3vs4 situation and can give up a corner three, this is something the Pels do ALOT.

We have been icing more, which I am a much bigger fan of. With our guards and bigs, we're much better suited for funneling the PnR to where we want it. My biggest complaint is, Monty isn't really flexible in how he runs it. The ball handler really doesn't matter, we're hedging on him. That isn't the right strategy.
