Tigers Aquire Romine

The Detroit Tigers have acquired Andrew Romine from the Los Angeles Angels.

Detroit sent left-hander Jose Alvarez to Los Angeles to complete the deal for the shortstop.

Romine, 28, represents an option at shortstop with Jose Iglesias sidelined.
