In the past year, we have seen many stars with their names linked in trade rumors

We had CP3 last offseason, along with numerous Dwight rumors. A lot of those included Andrew Bynum. Deron Williams was in trade rumors, supposedly if Dwight didn't go to BKN.
Andre Iguodala seemed to be on the outside, as well as Ray Allen and Steve Nash, and a Rondo for Westbrook swap was always rumored as well.

Now, all of those rumors are gone. The next big named player who will be in trade rumors will most likely be James Harden, with the Thunder having no chance at locking him up unless he wants to make $5M a year. I'm going to assume OKC will trade Harden, but to whom?

Who do you think will make the strongest push for Harden? Which place offers the best scenario for Harden?

I don't know how other's will feel but Pheonix or Utah could be good for him, 76ers might want him but now they have J-Rich and Young at SG, of course Lakers can pull off some amazing things.

why is jrich being mentioned in philly? they have et damnit!

harden wont be traded in the season. if he doesnt get an extension then i can see him getting s&t'd in the off-season like normally.

my guess for the next name attached to rumors is rudy gay. hes making a lot of money and it leaves the grizzlies in a spot where they may not be able to avoid the luxury tax to improve the team, or zbo for the same reason.

its real hard to predict this stuff until people start asking for trades in the media. i really dont know what to expect as of now.

My guess would be Josh Smith.

I believe this is the last year of his deal, and the Hawks seem to be entering a rebuild phase. They should get what they can out of Smith now before he bolts, unless they plan on using the money they saved from Marvin/JJ to re-up him and build around Smoove and Horford.

Harden can't get an extension and not put them over the hard cap

I still think Harden is on the Thunder all of next season. (I also don't think Harden would be a BIG trade, it would be him for some decent bench pieces so they don't have to worry about money)

I could maybe see Josh Smith, if the team does poorly and he says he wants out again.

Rudy Gay also comes to mind.

i forgot about jsmoove. if he asks for a trade i think this could be the year hes moved. adding harden to smoove/horford could be a nice trio though so they could hold onto him. i just dont think its smart to build around smoove/horford, that pair is what you would add to a team thats missing one or the other.

I doubt Harden gets traded. I don't think ATL would trade smoove for Harden when they could just offer both in the off-season

I could see Josh Smith being traded this season !
I still see Harden being with OKC
Rudy Gay could be a pretty interesting case

what about Tyreke Evans? hot the 1st season, last 2 he doesn't look that good, I know the injury, but if he plays bad again, maybe they will move him :?
