Royce White is still advocating for more common sense protocol for plays who deal with mental illnesses. Good on him. The read is a little long but it's more than worth it. I sure hope to see him on the court eventually, and I think the Rockets would have a great player on their hands had they handled his situation correctly.

But with Royce -- it's a privilege to play in the NBA. If you are too scared to board a fucking airplane, then maybe this isn't the league for you. you shouldn't be guaranteed special privileges when you havent even earned it on the court

This particular thing wasn't an actual issue, and it's addressed in the article. It was all speculation because he drove to a few games with ISU.
