The Cavaliers are shopping Dion Waiters, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.com.

The Bulls, Knicks and Sixers believed to be the teams in discussion with Cleveland. Waiters was "sick" on Saturday, plus he and Tristan Thompson had an "intense argument," according to Broussard. He has been coming off the bench while the Cavs have been starting guys like Matthew Dellavedova and C.J. Miles. He shot just 35.5 percent from the field in his three games off the bench and has a 2.3: 3.3 assist:turnover ratio, so he's obviously not playing well in his current role. The Cavs selected him with the fourth pick in the 2012 draft over guys like Damian Lillard and Andre Drummond.

Updating a previous item, Iman Shumpert, Luol Deng and Evan Turner are the trade targets for the Cavs in exchange for Dion Waiters, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.com

The Knicks really need a big man and since Shumpert is really their only trade piece, it doesn't make sense to trade him for another guard. The Bulls are reportedly looking to deal Luol Deng, but bringing on Waiters would also seems counterproductive. The Sixers might be looking to deal Evan Turner, but they would likely want some draft-pick compensation. In other words, these deals don't seem likely as a one-for-ones

Why would you draft Bennett if you were going to shop Waiters. Should've taken Dipo.

Yeah but he isn't flirting with the d-league like Bennett is.

He would also have a role on your team, whereas Bennett has none.

That probably has something to do with Oladipo getting steady minutes and being allowed to work through his issues.

I couldn't give two shits about their role for this season. Varejao is gone at the end of the year, Bynum might be too. We need bigs

Either way it is stunting his growth as a player not being able to play now. Cavs need to let Bennett find a role, which I really don't see him ever finding in Cleveland.

His situation just screams Derrick Williams to me.

Williams didnt find a role because he just wasnt good. It's unfortunate Bennett is glued to the bench, but he wasnt expected to play big minutes anyway. This is about finding the best talent for the future, not overreacting and taking maybe the best fit. Bennett is struggling but his upside is high, I'll take my chances with him. He didnt suddenly become unathletic, lose all his footwork and a terrible shooter, he'll be fine.

Williams is a decent shooter and is athletic. I'm just saying, the situations are eerily similar.

I just think Oladipo would've been a much better fit with the Cavs current roster as is. But even better fit if they do plan to move Waiters. Also think Oladipo will have a much better career than Bennett will. At least you could bank on Dipo being a good defender, don't really know what you are getting with Bennett.

Apparently Dion doesn't like that Kyrie or TT don't pass him the ball

Actually, he apparently doesn't like Kyrie at all. Apparently Kyrie gets away with taking whatever shots he wants, and not playing defense, but Waiters does not. And that's a very Mike Brown thing to do, he did it with Lebron too (shown in Shaq's book)

He isn't a decent shooter either. The two situations are very different.

In what league is 33% from three, 34% from mid range, and the personal best, 19% from inside the paint decent Sal?
