Texans Work Out Vernon Gholston

Houston Chronicle - The Texans worked out six players on Tuesday, including former first-round pick Vernon Gholston.

Gholston, a defensive end, was a disappointment with the Jets.

The kid is still young and still has a TON of potential, but for some reason he just can't seem to unlock that potential and play the way that he could. He's got great strength and quickness, and possibly with Mario Williams teaching him a bit, he could get back to being that legit pass-rusher that everyone thought he would be.
