FOXSports.com said:
Terrell Owens may not be without a team for long.

In an e-mail sent Friday morning to FOXSports.com, agent Drew Rosenhaus said a market has formed for the wide receiver's services following his Thursday release by the Dallas Cowboys. Rosenhaus also believes Owens will soon be signing with a new squad.

"There are several teams that are interested in signing Terrell," Rosenhaus said. "I have been in negotiations with these teams. I will not identify these teams at this time. Terrell and I expect to have a deal in place by the end of next week if not sooner."

Owens is among the NFL's career leaders in catches, yards and touchdowns. But the Cowboys are the third team to get rid of him because of his divisiveness. He left after eight seasons with the 49ers and two with the Eagles. There's speculation the Raiders or Redskins, among other teams, might be interested in him.
That said, I have an interesting question I pose to all of you right now:

If signing Terrell Owens was a lock to put up over 70 catches, 1,000 receiving yards, and at least 10 touchdowns...is he worth the risk?

I dunno. Lets ask San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Dallas. Is he? To ask the question is to imply there's ever been a REWARD, which there hasn't.

And Drew Rosenhaus saying there are "several teams askign about TO" is like Scott Boras saying there are several teams vying for Manny. Agents talk out of their ass.

I don't think the Eagles would of won as many games or made it to the Super in 2004 w/o him. Now that I think of it, the only time I actually had some respect for the guy was when he went against what Doctors told him and played in Super Bowl 39.

Well, the Eagles won every playoff game WITHOUT him. Scoring 27 points in both the Divisional & NFCCG.

That`s their job. They have to talk to make it seem like other teams are interested, so that they could maybe spark more interest in a certain team, and get more money than they could`ve before.

He will be golden for the first season for any team. He seemed to fit perfectly in Philly and Dallas during his first season. So signing him will be a good thing, you just got to see it as a short term investment.

Yeah, I understand that. Thanks. I'm merely pointing out the BS that Ro$senhau$ doesn't think anybody is smart enough to spot.

Chris Mortenson pointed it out best by saying Rosenthaul is trying to build interest in T.O. ASAP by claiming he's already negotiating with several teams. This is a tactic that Rosenthaul hopes will get teams out of the mindset that T.O. could come at a hefty discount once the 2nd round of FA is over.

I think that Rosenthauls` plan might work for some teams. I mean, that is the main reason why most of the teams are not interested in him, but if he can change their minds and make them think otherwise, or at least take a second look at T.O. than Bam, he has succeded. There are teams out their that need primary receivers, and even though T.O. can be a bit of a burden for his past teams, he can still put up the numbers.

49ers general manager Scot McCloughan did not rule out signing receiver Terrell Owens, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday. During an interview on KNBR radio, McCloughan initially gave a vague answer about Owens by explaining that the 49ers evaluate every free agent on the market. Brian Murphy, co-host of the "Murph & Mac" morning show, pressed the issue by saying, "So official statement from the 49ers: 'Not closing the door?'" "Correct," McCloughan said.

Pro Football Talk - A number of teams have already expressed their disinterest in Terrell Owens, but the Bills are reportedly very interested in the receiver.

Buffalo coach Dick Jauron reportedly has initiated the process, lobbying the front office to consider Owens.

Owens has reportedly been telling people, namely ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, that he wants to play with a quarterback that can get him the ball.

The Bills would be a very interesting choice for both sides. The Bills typically don't spend money on high-priced, flashy free agents & Dick Jauron is a low-key guy that values a repsectful lockerroom environment.

At the Same time, the Bills are strung out at WR and have been long depserate to find a solid compliment to Lee Evans. The Bills did what they could to court TJ & Laverneous...but to no avail.

I actually surfed some Bills' fan forums today...see what the fans are saying & here's what I read:

Terrell Owens would be the final key to tearing this franchise down further than it already is. This could be the worst thing to ever happen here.
The guy is an #######....
It doesn't make any sense. Of all the players that we could've thrown money at, we'd go after Owens?

There isn't a chance in hell that he would even want to play here.

This would kill Edwards. actually, this is a friggin joke. why am I even responding to this garbage?
If we don't go after him we are on crack.
As somebody who spent 24 years in upstate New York...I can tell you that Buffalo is a very proud, blue-collar part of this country that is the complete opposite of everything Terrell Owens carries with him. I have been to a dozen Bills' games so I can also tell you from first hand experience, those fans would eat T.O. alive.

Next to Yankees and Eagles fans, Bills fans are some of the worst I have ever seen.
