ESPNNewYork.com - Jets strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, suspended indefinitely after tripping a Dolphins player in a Dec. 12 game, resigned from his position.

At the time of the incident general manager Mike Tannenbaum indicated that Alosi could be fired.

Alosi released a statement through the team, saying in part, "After the events that have transpired, I feel it's best for my family and me to look for a fresh start."

I thought the same thing. I had to read the article to realize who it was again. He knew it probably wasn't best for him to stay there, and he'll always have that attached to his name. No matter how many teams actually do it. He's the one that everyone will think about.
