The Suns would accommodate Steve Nash with a trade, but the former MVP has yet to express an interest in a move.

"It's really on him in terms of what he wants to do or not do," a person with knowledge of the situation said.

Nash, 37, is averaging 14.5 points and 9.9 assists.

The Suns are 9-14 and 12th in the Western Conference.
I'm usually behind stars "forcing" their ways to big cities, but I'd be 100% behind this for obvious reasons. Nash has to back off his loyalty and request a trade, he deserves to play for a title.

I just don't see a contending team that has the players to trade for him. Sucks too. He's gonna have to wait a year and walk to a team.

Maybe the Magic and Suns make another trade this year and te Magic try to get Nash to see if he'll be enough to keep Dwight in Orlando.

Would Anderson and Jameer get it done?

i don't have a problem with forcing a trade. If you're gonna leave and you basically know it's "X or Y" team that you will sign with, might as well give your team a chance to get something back.

This sounds more like the Suns understand he's going to leave and they maybe don't have much interest in keeping him much longer, so they're being cool about it.
